Working for Youth Jobs and Youth Leadership

The Youth Jobs Coalition is a statewide coalition in Massachusetts working for sustainable youth jobs funding and youth leadership.

This summer, federal stimulus funds for youth jobs have been eliminated and the State has $0 in its new budget for youth jobs and career counselors. Although there are some funds left from last year's budget, overall State funding for youth jobs and career counselors are currently cut by 50%. The City of Boston faces a cut from more than 10,000 youth jobs last summer, to only 7,600 this summer. Join us in the fight to secure full funding for youth jobs!
